General access to the electronic office of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) is provided through the Cl@ve tool. Cl@ve is a system designed to unify and simplify citizens' electronic access to the services of Spain's public administrations. However, for foreign citizens who do not have Spanish identification documents and cannot directly obtain a valid digital certificate to authenticate themselves through Cl@ve, an alternative mechanism is offered for registered users with password access.
